Explore the Piano

Learning the piano at the ages of four, five and six is a great way for your child to build confidence and develop both gross and fine motor skills.  Your child will be delighted by the games, songs and music that will guide them on an exploration of the piano.

Lessons include learning songs on the piano, colourful worksheets, and activities on percussion instruments that will engage your child's creativity as well as reenforcing concepts and skills that are vital for successful piano progression.  Your child will even learn how to play Old MacDonald, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Eensie Weensie Spider.

Quality Teaching

Be assured that your child's teacher is trained to bring out the best in them.  The Piano Explorers teacher, Mrs Emma Collyer, holds a Bachelor of Music (Honours) as well as a Bachelor of Teaching.  She has years of experience teaching piano to young children and even has six children herself.  She is passionate about making learning the piano easy and enjoyable and has developed numerous games, activities and pieces that will help your child's first notes on the piano feel effortless.

Nurturing Confidence.

As your child journeys through the Piano Explorers curriculum, their confidence will blossom. Through games, songs and quality teaching, your child will boldly discover rhythms, melodies and the notes of the piano.  All this will enable them to perform simple song like Mary had a little lamb, Hot cross buns and more.   At the completion of the program your child will even have the opportunity to perform a piano solo at the Piano Explorers graduation.
