Frequently Asked Questions about payments

With the direct debit plan,  do I still pay when the studio is closed?

Yes - our studio is open for lessons 48 weeks of the year with a 4 week closure over the Christmas/New Year Period.  We have divided our annual membership fee into 26 payments debited fortnightly.

Is there a discount for paying the full 12 month membership upfront?

Yes,  our upfront 12 month payment is discounted by 1 fortnightly payment.

What if I miss a lesson? can I have a makeup lesson or a credit on fees?

We do not give fee credits,  however we have a simple to use make up lesson booking platform that allows you to make up a missed lesson as long as we are provided with a minimum of 24 hours notice of the lesson to be missed.   Makeup lessons must be booked within 6 months of the absence

Do I require a deposit to secure my child's place?

Yes - A payment of 2 fortnights is required when you first subscribe to a fortnightly membership payment plan.

Is there a minimum membership period?

Yes - A minimum of 6 fortnights is required before you can cancel your membership

How do I cancel a membership?

We require 4 weeks notice of a membership cancellation plus a completion of our student discontinuation form to cancel a membership.

If I have purchased a 12 month upfront membership can I get a refund if I choose to discontinue lessons?

We do not offer refunds for upfront memberships,  however you can transfer the membership to another person.
